You Matter More Than You Know
1 Corinthians 12:15-18 -- Paul illustrates that no part of the body can declare itself unnecessary, because God Himself has appointed every member exactly where He desired.
The foot does not get to decide it is not a foot. God decided that. And God does not make unnecessary parts. The church has long suffered from members who have quietly convinced themselves that their absence would go unnoticed, that their contribution is too small to count, that someone else will fill the gap. But a body missing even its smallest part must compensate. Other members must work harder. Functions go unmet. God appointed you to this body just as He desired -- not as an afterthought, not as a spare part, but as a necessary piece of something He is building for His own glory.
