We Were Never Meant to Grow Alone
We Were Never Meant to Grow Alone
Following Jesus is personal, but it was never intended to be private.
God places believers within a local church so that we can worship, learn, serve, pray, and grow together. Acts 2:42 describes the early believers as continually devoting themselves to biblical teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. Hebrews 10:24–25 tells us to gather so that we may encourage one another toward love and good works.
We need the Word of God, and we need the people of God.
This is why GROW in Christ includes growing in meaningful relationships with other believers. We need people who will pray for us, encourage us when we struggle, lovingly correct us when we wander, and remind us of God’s faithfulness.
If you have become disconnected from the church, this Sunday is an opportunity to reconnect. You do not have to walk through the door with everything resolved. Simply come. Worship with us, open God’s Word with us, and allow your church family to walk beside you again.
Ask the Lord today: “Who can help me grow, and whom can I encourage?”
KNOW Christ. GROW in Christ. GO for Christ.
Every Person Has a Next Step.
