Your Next Step Can Begin This Sunday

This Sunday is more than the beginning of a new sermon series. It is an opportunity for each of us to renew our commitment to following Jesus and helping others follow Him.

Our prayer is that God will use this churchwide emphasis to strengthen our entire congregation—from children and teenagers to adults and senior adults. In the coming weeks, our sermons, Bible study classes, member booklets, ministry conversations, and family discussions will point us toward one shared mission:

Making fully devoted disciples of Jesus who make disciples for Jesus.

Perhaps you have been attending faithfully but know there is an area in which you need to grow. Perhaps you have remained on the edges of church life and need to become more connected. Perhaps your attendance has become inconsistent, and you have wondered how to return.

Let this Sunday be your next step.

Come as you are. You do not need to explain your absence or wait until everything in your life is settled. Come worship with your church family. Hear God’s Word. Reconnect with people who care about you. Allow the Lord to renew your heart and reestablish faithful patterns in your life.

Please pray before Sunday:

* Ask God to prepare our congregation to receive His Word.
* Pray for the salvation of those who do not yet know Christ.
* Pray for those who have drifted away to return.
* Pray for our pastors, teachers, ministry leaders, parents, and children.
* Ask the Lord to reveal your own faithful next step.

Then invite someone to join you. A simple invitation may be the encouragement another person needs.
