Hope for the Hurting

This Psalm has been called by various names by numerous different commentators over the years such as, “The Traveler’s Hymn, “The Soldier’s Song” or as Charles Spurgeon calls it “The Psalm to the Keeper of Israel”.
It has no human author identified with it, so it has universal overtones which cannot be linked to any particular individual or historical timeframe. It is applicable to all of God’s people wherever they are!
