What To Expect
A Warm Welcome – We do everything we can to make you feel right at home. We’ll have members ready to help you find your way around, and plenty of coffee to share. We strive to see that each and every person is warmly welcomed.
Families, Singles, & Students– We believe that every person is a valuable contributor to the body of Christ, so we avoid segregating the church into ages and stages as much as possible. We love to have children in our service with the adults. Children are never to be put in the back so we can “worship”. Jesus himself said to let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. We offer a “family room” that you are free to use if you or your children ever need to stretch, etc., but we never demand that you use it…the room is for your convenience. In fact, it has a live audio/video feed of the service so that you can still hear and see everything that is going on in the service. We produce an interactive Children’s Worship Guide so that kids aged 4 and older can participate in the service and understand their value to the church body.
Great Music with Solid Content – We have a full band that plays everything from new songs to classic Christian hymns. We aren’t bound to a particular style or genre, but we are bound to songs that teach good theology and exalt Jesus. We are not concerned with the popularity of the song or the artist. Our goal is to honor Christ, not to entertain. We want to worship Jesus in Spirit...and in Truth.
Expository Preaching – Whether we are teaching through a book of the Bible (most of the time) or preaching a doctrinal (topical) series of some kind, we study the Bible verse-by-verse to understand it and apply it to our lives. The Word of God is used by the Spirit of God to transform us into the likeness of Jesus, the Son of God.
