Systematic Theology For Kids
Midweek Program at GPEH Church!
Starting Back September 4th, 2024
The Adventure Club curriculum takes children through a systematic study of theology in the Scriptures. Covering a broad range of topics, Adventure Club brings deep theological concepts down to a basic understanding through teaching lessons, Scripture memorization, and songs.
Our Program
Overview
Adventure Club is an exciting children’s ministry program that is focused on bible memorization and teaching children the truth of God’s Word in a fun, meaningful way. This program is designed for children ages three through eleven. This program is a fun, energetic, Bible centered experience for kids while their parents are worshipping in the evening service.
Structure
A standard Adventure Club program runs for an hour and a-half with time before and after for set-up and break-down. If your program calls for a different duration, contact our customer service team to discuss details. Your standard Adventure Club night consists of four main sections: games, music, lesson, and small group.
Schedule
Adventure Club is designed to run for 36 weeks over the course of a standard school year, beginning the first week of September and ending in May, with a break around Christmas and the new year. We recommend taking May through August off, so volunteers and parents have time to rest before the start of another year.
Adventure Club is organized into three age appropriate groups:
Trackers (ages 3-5)
Scouts (grades 1-3)
Trailblazers (grades 4-5)
Our Mission
Adventure Club exists to glorify God through evangelizing children, encouraging parents, and edifying servants so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened.
The Club
While at Adventure Club, the kids will be taught systematic theology broken down for their specific age level. This is accomplished through a holistic approach of focusing on the specific lesson topic, a central truth, and ending each lesson with the gospel. Kids will also memorize a memory verse each week that applies to the theological theme and learn how it applies to their lives during small group time. Music and games are a fun way to keep the kids coming back for more and wanting to invite their friends to join them in the program.
This years THEMES: THE TRUTH ABOUT MAN, SIN, SALVATION.

The Home
Church is not the only place children should be learning God’s Word. Parents are encouraged to teach their children God’s Word at home. Adventure Club is designed as a way for parents to help their children plant God’s Word in their heart. Every child will memorize the same weekly Bible verse. There are also activities in the kid’s book for the kids to do at home.
The Adventure
Kids love stories. In every Adventure Club kid’s book, there is an adventure story that the kids can read by themselves or with their parents. The Adventure Club kids will also follow six-character guides (Blaze and Amelia in Trailblazers; Scout and Sally in Scouts, and Tracker and Lucy in Trackers) through activities, and an adventure story, working together and learning lessons
Kids & Parents
Adventure Club was created to be a fun and meaningful way for children to learn the theological lessons of the Bible. The full curriculum is designed to create opportunities for parents and children to have deeper discussions about God and the Bible. This is accomplished through the lessons, memory verses, activities, and adventure story that parents and children will be going through, at home and while attending Adventure Club. It is our hope that the Lord will use this program to plant the seed of the gospel into each child’s heart, and that the children will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
The Adventure Club curriculum and kid’s books were designed to help the child learn the theology of the Bible. These theological themes are presented over 30 weeks and give key phrases summarizing what each child will learn. Each lesson will have a memory verse pertaining to the theological topic for them to memorize.
Parents are encouraged to help their child memorize the memory verse each week. Every 6 weeks there will be a review lesson. This will be the children’s opportunity to recite the memory verses they learned over the past five weeks.
