Who is Jesus, really?

Many people admire Him as a great teacher, a moral example, or a remarkable historical figure. But in John 8, Jesus makes a claim that leaves no room for those conclusions alone. Standing before a hostile crowd, He declares, "Before Abraham was born, I AM." With those words, Jesus identifies Himself with the eternal God who revealed Himself to Moses at the burning bush.

In this message, we'll explore one of the clearest declarations of Christ's deity in all of Scripture. We'll discover why the religious leaders immediately reached for stones, how the Old Testament points to Jesus as the great I AM, and why His identity is at the very heart of the gospel. Join us as we see that Jesus is not merely a prophet or teacher, but the eternal Son of God who alone has authority to forgive sins, conquer death, and give eternal life.
